These Terms govern your use of gamesyncwp.com and your purchase of a GameSync WP Pro license. By downloading our free products or purchasing a Pro license, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are

2. What we offer
- GameSync WP Importer (free plugin) and GameSync Lite (free theme) — free to download.
- GameSync WP Pro — a one-time-purchase bundle unlocking the PixelWire theme, PixelWire Post Ratings plugin, and Manual Related Posts plugin, plus Pro features inside the free Importer plugin.
3. Open-source licensing (GPL)
Our WordPress plugins and themes are built on WordPress and distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2 or later, matching WordPress’s own licensing requirements:
- The PHP/JS/CSS code in every product — free or Pro — is and remains free software: you may use, copy, modify and redistribute it under the GPL, including after purchasing Pro.
- What a Pro license actually buys is not a restriction on the code, but access to the compiled Pro download, product updates, and customer support, tied to the number of sites your license covers.
- Some bundled assets (artwork, icons, demo images) may carry separate license terms and aren’t GPL-licensed; these are noted where they apply.
4. Purchasing, pricing and payment
- All Pro purchases are processed by Freemius, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Freemius handles payment processing, VAT/sales-tax collection and invoicing on our behalf.
- The Pro license is a one-time payment of $30 USD (VAT added by Freemius where it applies), covering lifetime access to Pro features on the number of sites stated at checkout.
- Your purchase includes one year of technical support. Software updates are provided free of charge for as long as we continue supporting the product — whether or not you renew support. Renewing technical support after your first year costs $25/year.
5. License scope
- A Pro license may be activated on the number of sites specified at purchase (see your Freemius account for your exact entitlement).
- You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute your license key itself (as distinct from the GPL code — see Section 3).
- We may deactivate a license used in violation of these Terms, without affecting your rights to the underlying GPL-licensed code.

See our Refund Policy for full details. In short: we offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee on Pro purchases.
7. Support and updates
- Free products: community support only, no guaranteed response time.
- Pro license holders: one year of technical support is included with your purchase, via support@gamesyncwp.com. After your first year, you can renew support for $25/year — entirely optional.
- Software updates keep coming free of charge for as long as we support the product, whether or not you renew technical support.
- We aim to respond to support requests within 2 business days, but don’t guarantee a fix or feature for any specific request.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: circumvent license checks, use our products for unlawful purposes, or misuse our support channels (e.g. abusive language, spam).
9. Intellectual property
“GameSync WP”, “PixelWire” and associated logos are our trademarks (or used under license). Except for the GPL-licensed code itself, all other website content, branding and documentation remain our property.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Our products are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by Danish and EU law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you have under Danish or EU law that cannot be excluded by contract.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of our products or website is limited to the amount you paid for your Pro license in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (e.g. lost profits, lost data) arising from use of our products.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also retain any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your own country of residence, which take precedence over any conflicting term here. Disputes are handled by the Danish courts, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in your own country of residence, or to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of our products after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
